What to Donate

Spring 2021 Move-out:

Due to current health and safety risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, our collection process during the Spring 2021 move-out period is limited. We are only able to accept the following categories of items:

  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Bedding and sheets
  • Hangers
  • School Supplies
  • Kitchen items (dishware and cooking/eating utensils)
  • Electronics (excluding monitors and large appliances)
  • Lamps
  • Fans
  • Mirrors
  • Waste Bins
  • Hampers
  • Shower caddies
  • Power strips
  • Decorations
  • Small furniture
Items that are considered waste and should not be donated are (they should be disposed in a waste station instead):
  • Perishable and non-perishable food
  • Hygiene items
  • Heavily used or damaged items

To find out where to donate these items, see our 'Where to Donate' page. Each lounge will have designated boxes or areas for different item categories. To learn more, visit our 'Lounge Set Up and Categories' page. The information below details our normal collection process, which is inactive during Fall 2020.

When deciding whether an item can be donated, be practical and respectful!

Donations of partially used, hygienic items—such as shampoo, laundry detergent, notebooks, etc.—are absolutely welcome.

Do note donate items that are unhygienic or contain any personal identification.

Please place all items in bins in the correct designated area. For example, clothing goes in the large, GreenDrop cardboard box.
