Data Scientist at Salesforce

I work on a software system that automatically builds predictive models for many different enterprise applications (e.g churn prediction, customer service classification, etc.). Building and operating machine learning models requires a blend of statistics and software engineering knowledge, and this is where my Swarthmore education comes in handy. I did a double major of Computer Science and Math (Statistics emphasis) at Swat, with short statistics research stints at UPenn and Swat (under Prof. Steve Wang). My journey into the tech world all started with an internship at Salesforce, which I got through a courtesy referral from Cathy Polinsky (another Swattie!).
