Welcome to Math & Stat Academic Support!

The complete schedule of Math & Stat clinics for the Spring 2023 semester is now online.  Math clinics will begin on Tuesday January 17.  Stat clinics, course-specific clinics, one-on-one clinics, and pirate sessions will begin the subsequent weeks.

New for the spring 2023!

Intro to R Workshop

Our Stat clinicians began the semester with a two-part workshop to introduce students to R statistical computing.  Although geared toward students enrolled in Stat 11 or Stat 21, anyone with an interest in learning R was welcome to attend.  Each workshop included instruction from 8-9 pm and an optional Q&A time from 9-10 pm.

One-on-one Clinics

In addition to our traditional drop-in math clinics, students now have the opportunity to schedule an individual 20 minute meeting with a clinician.  Students have the option to submit a draft of their work or a topic they would like help with ahead of time.  Meetings may take place in person in SC 142 (the small computer lab) or on zoom.  Priority is given to students who sign up in advance.  Book an appointment now!
