First math class at Swarthmore:   Single Variable Calculus 2

What was your favorite math class and why?
Differential Equations. It felt like the culmination of a lot of work put into developing a deeper conceptual understanding of math, and it had many interesting applications.

How do you expect to use your mathematics after leaving Swarthmore? 
I expect to directly use my mathematics through a career in finance or economics, and to also use the analytical way of thinking that my math courses taught me. 

What advice do you have for an incoming student?
Even if you don't find yourself needing to take a math class, it can be super helpful for developing problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail.
