Mr. Mao is a well trained art historian and has published more than three books on Arts. He is particularly interested in the Impressionist movement in the 19th century. He thinks that the impressionist movement is a kind of revolution in art history. He will use numerous images he collected to prove his conception. He also chose Swarthmore as a platform to enhance our students' better understanding of the esthetic charm of the impressionist arts. The event is open to the public.
