Orchestra and Wind Ensemble Auditions, Fall 2020

If you play an orchestra or band instrument, we hope you'll consider auditioning for orchestra or wind ensemble. All auditions will be via video this year, and we'd love to hear you play! Here's the info:

ORCHESTRA:  We welcome auditions for the Fall Semester of Orchestra! Any student who plays an orchestral instrument is welcome to audition.  Please make a video in which you play 3-4 minutes of any music you feel demonstrates your current level. (You are welcome to use the same video that you use for your Music 48 audition, if you're also auditioning for that program). It can be a video taken on your phone or computer: as long as we can see and hear you, it's fine! You can upload your video here. Please submit your video by September 9 (but if you would like to attend the first orchestra meeting on September 7, but haven't yet submitted your video, please email Prof. Hauze to make arrangements). Once you submit your video audition, Professor Hauze will be in touch to schedule a brief meeting over Zoom so that you can meet him and he can learn more about your musical interests at Swarthmore.

WIND ENSEMBLEWe welcome new members for the Fall Semester of Wind Ensemble! Auditions for Wind Ensemble are to determine seating assignments: any student who plays a band instrument is welcome to participate. Please submit your video by September 9.  Once you submit your video audition, Professor Hauze will be in touch to schedule a brief meeting over Zoom so that you can meet him and he can learn more about your musical interests at Swarthmore.
