This past weekend, Michelle Ma '20, was invited to speak at Bit by Bit, a conference for high school girls, dedicated to breaking the barrier for girls in tech. The conference took place at the Dalton School in New York City. Michelle served on a panel alongside Calla Carter (Bryn Mawr '18) and Melanie Logan (Stony Brook '20). They collectively spoke to the experiences of being a woman in tech, and specifically what it's like to pursue CS in college and be an active part of a Women+ in CS (W+iCS) club on campus. Michelle is honored to have had this amazing opportunity, and looks forward to bringing her knowledge back to Swarthmore's W+iCS and the campus community at large.
