The GEO Team

Global Engagement at Swarthmore

The Global Engagement Office (GEO) is dedicated to supporting global mobility and international education for members of the Swarthmore College community throughout every stage of their global travel —before departure, while abroad, and upon return.  GEO administers semester/year study abroad and domestic study away and provides international travel support for faculty, staff, groups and students.  GEO empowers Swarthmore community travelers to be informed travelers and to navigate international environments with confidence and purpose. Through cross-border academic partnerships and intercultural experiences, GEO contributes to the College’s mission by promoting meaningful engagement with higher education institutions and local communities around the world.
