Global Engagement Committee

Campus-wide Collaboration on Global Engagement Opportunities

The Global Engagement Committee is a standing committee of faculty and administrators responsible for advising the Global Engagement Office on matters of policy and practice. Its duties include conducting regular reviews of Swarthmore College’s study abroad programs; evaluating both approved and proposed programs; reviewing student petitions to attend non-approved programs; and ensuring the educational quality of all supported programs. This advisory committee also works to identify and reduce unnecessary institutional barriers to participation in global engagement opportunities.
