Professional Development

The Provost's Office recognizes the importance of developing and retaining outstanding faculty and ensuring faculty vitality to the overall excellence of the College.  From initial academic appointments, through tenure and promotion, and during sabbatical periods, the Provost's office supports faculty in achieving excellence in their work as scholars and researchers.  The office provides financial assistance in the form of travel and research grants and opportunities for sabbatical support, and offers programming designed to enhance collaboration among faculty.
