As part of new student orientation, we will share additional guidance for pre-med students. On this website, we briefly describe things you can keep in mind if you are interested in attending medical school after graduating from Swarthmore.
You can major in any department - including the humanities and social sciences - and still be a successful applicant to medical school.
Swarthmore science courses are challenging. We strongly advise first-year students to talk to their advisors about how best to adjust, including how many science courses to take.
