Hours of Operation

 
Monday - Friday 9 am - 4:45 pm during Fall and Spring semester when classes are in session***
(The health center is closed from 12pm-1pm daily)
 
Please call 610-328-8058 during operating hours to schedule an appointment or with medical questions. No walk-in appointments.
 
***Fall 2022 schedule notes:
- The health center is closed 12pm - 1:30pm on the following dates: October 5, October 20, November 2, November 17,  December 7.
- Fall Break: October 10 - October 14 open 10am - 2pm
- Thanksgiving: Closed November 23 at 12pm - November 27  
- Reading Days: December 12 - December 16 open 10am - 2pm
- Winter Break: Closed December 17 - January 17
 
 
 
The Team Health nurse on call  is available at 610-328-8548 anytime the health center is closed and you need medical advice or have tested positive for COVID-19.
 
For non-urgent questions,  email health@swarthmore.edu and a team member will get back to you within 48-72 hours.

Student Health and Wellness is located in the Worth Health Center, which is nestled in a multi-variety magnolia orchard adjacent to the Benjamin West Parking Lot right of of Rt. 320. The center comprises Student Health Services, Counseling & Psychological Services, and a comprehensive wellness education team.

Swarthmore’s Health and Wellness staff supports the needs of our diverse student body by providing individualized holistic care and campus-wide education.  The nurse practitioner model offers acute and chronic health care services, as well as preventive health services with a focus on issues that impact college students.  Students can also receive services in study abroad and travel immunization, allergy desensitization, reproductive health, vaccination, LGBTQ wellness, nutrition, alcohol and other drug counseling, violence prevention and healthy relationships counseling.

The Student Wellness Program includes campus-wide events and activities that help build the skills necessary for healthy living through the promotion of physical, intellectual, mental, sexual, and spiritual health and wellness.

The multidisciplinary team of Swarthmore College health leaders is committed to creating a compassionate environment.  Our vision is to empower students to be engaged in their continuum of lifelong health and wellbeing.
