Get to know Tripod
Tripod is the research portal of the TriCollege Libraries, which provides one-stop searching for materials at Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore.
- To begin, notice the options at the right side of the search bar. The default setting is for:
- Books + Media + Articles: use this for broad searches exploring topics and ideas. Results may include all types of library materials
- or start out by limiting your search to:
- Books + Media: which includes ebooks, film, sound recordings and music scores
- Articles: well, articles! Look for the options on the left: you may choose to limit your search to articles within Peer-reviewed Journals and online availability
- [Course Reserves: to see what is placed on reserve for your class and to see whether it's available for use] not available for Fall 2020
- Refine your results using the options on the left
- Sign in!
- for more seamless access to online resources
- to save searches and create lists of favorites
