Submit a Proposal to Build an APP
The CIL helps students connect with alumni with applied expertise. The proposed panel must be aligned with the CIL mission to foster innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship through applied knowledge and creativity for a better world.
What the CIL does:
- Helps students identify alumni appropriate to topic, drawing on institutional knowledge to find those with a strong connection
- Help students make connections with alumni, either with an introduction or collaborating on professional outreach
- Help students draft appropriate communication and scheduling process
- Help students draft questions and program outline for event moderation
- Help students with logistics around hosting a virtual or live event
- Help students promote event through CIL listserv, website and social media
- Provides funding if appropriate to event
What students do:
- Provide a topic, goal and audience
- Collaborate with CIL on identifying strong alumni appropriate to topic
- Communicate directly with alumni directly for outreach and scheduling
- Promote panel through student channels
- Moderate panel
