Swarthmore Tuition Guarantee

Starting in fall 2027, Swarthmore will offer financial aid that covers or exceeds the full cost of tuition for families earning $200,000 or less, with typical assets, with the Swarthmore Tuition Guarantee

Beyond the Guarantee, we’ll continue to meet 100% of students’ financial needs without loans. Because of our thorough and holistic financial aid application process, many families earning above $200,000 still qualify for our generous aid packages.

Discover Swarthmore Fly-In Program

Learn about Discover Swarthmore, our all-expenses paid fly-in program that helps prospective students experience college life, interact with the Swarthmore community, and learn valuable information about college admissions and financial aid. All rising high school seniors (U.S. citizens, permanent residents or DACA/undocumented students attending school in the U.S.) are eligible for the program, though we encourage you to consider nominating high-achieving students who are first in their families to attend college, students who come from low-income backgrounds, or students who have experienced opportunity gaps or barriers.
