During those hours during your recovery, you can request that the shuttle pick you up or drop you off at campus destinations that are not typically on the shuttle route. To make that request, please call the Public Safety Communication Center: 610-328-8281.

If you are anticipating making regular requests for unique pick-up or drop-off locations as you recover, then please reach out first to Director of Public Safety Mike Hill (mhill1@swarthmore.edu) and Associate Director of Public Safety Sam Smemo (ssmemo1@swarthmore.edu). They will try to meet requests, but their ability to do so is based on staffing, vehicle availability and additional constraints.

Outside of the shuttle hours, the college is not able to provide transportation service around campus.

Temporary parking permits

If you have access to a car and need a temporary parking permit as you recover from your injury or surgery, please talk with the Interim Director of Student Health and Wellness Casey Anderson (canders4@swarthmore.edu). She can review your request and help coordinate with the relevant offices.
