The College’s ADA-accessible shuttles are here to make your daily commute smooth, safe, and comfortable, whether you’re heading to an early morning class or catching a ride home after a late-night study session. Operated by the Department of Public Safety and driven by a team of friendly, professional drivers — many of whom become familiar faces to students — the shuttle is a trusted part of campus life. Starting August 2025, the Garnet Shuttle is rolling out its most exciting upgrade yet! With expanded hours, a reliable full-campus loop, and real-time tracking through the TriCo Transit Network App, getting around Swarthmore has never been easier — or more convenient.

Whether you’re an early bird, a late-night studier, or a weekend explorer, the Garnet Shuttle has you covered! 

🗺️ Full Campus Loop – 7:00 AM to 4:00 AM, 7 Days a Week!

We’ve re-imagined the Garnet Shuttle as a full campus loop, running continuously from 7:00 AM to 4:00 AM, every day of the week — ensuring every major residential, academic, and social hub on campus is never more than a few minutes away. Additionally, a second Garnet Shuttle will run from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday through Friday, solely servicing the South Campus area including Palmer Circle and Mary Lyon Hall.

🚍 Each stop is visited approximately twice per hour — so you’re never waiting long! All stops are completed in about 35 minutes, with a 1–2-minute wait per stop to allow for boarding and disembarking. ⚠️ Please note: Actual timing may vary slightly due to traffic, detours, or vehicle breaks — but we’re committed to keeping things moving efficiently!

🛍️ Bonus Ride: H-Mart Sundays!

Your favorite grocery trip just got easier! The Garnet Shuttle now offers a special H-Mart route every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, making it easy to stock up on essentials, snacks, and more — all without needing a car.
