All students interested in CAPS services must complete one access appointment per academic year. An access appointment is a 20-minute phone call where a CAPS clinician learns more about your needs and provides referrals for services which are a good fit.
If you have never been to CAPS OR you have not completed an access appointment this academic year, please select click the "CAPS Portal" button below and then "Access Appointment" inside the CAPS Portal. Please follow the steps carefully. Write down the date and time of the appointment that you select, as you will need to be in a private location during the appointment.
Please note, demand for access appointments is high during the first few weeks of the semester. CAPS works very hard to meet this demand and may sometimes need to add more appointments throughout the day or week. If you try to schedule an access appointment and find there are not any available, wait until the afternoon or until the next morning. You may have more success earlier in the day.
Please note: you must be on the campus internet or using VPN in order to access the CAPS Portal.
