The Thrive Workshop series is back for Spring 2024! The theme is moving beyond what we've heard or thought we knew to learn other ways to take care of and understand ourselves and others. Beyond the Buzz: Identifying and Understanding Trauma

Trauma is more than just a buzzword. Come to this presentation to learn about different origins of trauma, explore the effects that trauma can have on our bodies brains, and social worlds, and discuss the first-steps towards healing.

Beyond Romantic Love: Deepening Connection

Join us to learn about different types of love (based on the works of Ancient Greeks), consider the ways our values/interests/identities impact how we connect to others, and learn how to identify and express our needs in order to deepen our relationships.

Beyond Fight or Flight: Understanding and Regulating Your Nervous System

You may have heard of fight or flight, but what about the F words? This workshop will explore the various stress responses through a neurobiological approach. Learn how to identify when our bodies are in fight/flight/freeze/fawn states and why our nervous systems respond the way they do when we feel threatened.

Beyond the Blow Up: Recognizing and Managing Distress During Conflict

How do you respond when irritated or angry with others? Argue? Avoid them? While conflict is unavoidable, we can engage in ways that deepen relationships rather than destroy them. Join us to learn some tips and tricks for staying calm and presnet when relationships get rocky.

Ever wonder if you really belong here? You might be experiencing imposter phenomenon, also known as imposter syndrome. This workshop will explore why these feelings of doubt occur and how to address it head on.

Do you feel like you're on top of the world one day and in the dumps the next? This workshop will explore small ways to maintain connection to yourself so you can navigate these ups and downs with more self-compassion and offer practical ways to cultivate daily habits that support long-term mental health and holistic wellbeing.
