1 paragraph explaining their preliminary idea or approach (the last paragraph can be identical for all members of the same team).

What:
- Present an argument for why a company is over or undervalued and what investment choice should be made. 10 slides, 15 minute pitch, and 5 minutes for judges questions. Learn more about stock pitch competitions here.
Who:
Three teams, each with three students, will compete in the pitch in front of a panel of expert alumni judges, including Grant Nachman ‘01, CEO/CIO of Shorecliff Asset Management.
When:
Final competition- Friday afternoon/evening, October 30 (exact time TBD).
Application decisions will be made in mid-late August, and stock pitch prompt will be sent to participants Sept 1.
Why:
CASH PRIZES! First place team wins $3000, second place team gets $300, third place team gets $150.

Things to know:
This is an independent project. While the CIL and Career Services will provide a list of asynchronous resources and support alumni connections, there are no trainings specifically associated with the event.
AI tools can be used, but each team is solely responsible for all aspects of their application and pitch. Any content, style or reasoning will reflect on the team.
