Summer Opportunities Fair & Information Sessions

Preparing your application for summer funding starts in the fall with connecting with the offices and departments that provide funding for the upcoming summer. If you're new to the process, it is highly recommended that you attend office/dept infos session about College-sanctioned resources available the following summer.

Summer Opportunities Fairs: All of the departments/offices that provide funding & resources will be on-hand at one time and place.   Annually held in-person at the end of October and virtually in December/January.

• TIPS for Success at the Fair

  • Review the Summer opportunities website before attending the fair.

  • Identify up to three funding sources of interest.

  • Prepare at least 2 questions for the offices responsible for those funding sources to learn more about whether these programs are a good fit with your academic interests.

  • Attend upcoming info sessions to learn more about programs that you were unable to speak with at the fair.

Prep for the Summer Opportunities Fair Workshop: Learn about how to best tackle your summer funding applications! Typically held the week after the Summer Opportunities Fair.
