Since its creation, the Self-Study Action Committee has been committed to sharing regular updates and opportunities for community input throughout this process. This high level of community engagement will continue throughout the implementation of recommendations. Please check this page regularly for progress updates as they become available.

March 11, 2016: It's Time for Action, We Need Your Participation!

We would like to remind all community members of our invitation to participate in cross-constituency round table discussions on Friday, March 18. The final deadline to sign up is Monday, March 14th. February 15, 2016: It's Time for Action, We Need Your Participation!

The Self-Study Action committee needs your help in suggesting ways we can build a stronger, more equitable, and more supportive campus environment for all persons who live, work, and study here. There are many ways to share your ideas (see below). The Committee will be collecting all ideas and recommending to the President three to four action steps for measurable change by April 30. January 29, 2016: Campus Climate – Next Action Steps

Dear Swarthmore College Community:

Last semester we received the results of the campus climate survey conducted by Rankin and Associates: http://www.swarthmore.edu/study-learning-working-living/outcomes. We have committed to identifying three to four specific actions by the end of spring semester 2016, based on input from members of the campus community, that will help us respond to the concerns raised in the report.  We will act on other ideas in the months and years ahead.
