What types of support are available?
There are pirates for in-class support in Math 15 and 25 in the fall and Math 25 and 27 in the spring. The pirates also host sessions in the evening where students in these intro courses can work on their homework assignments with support available.
There are course-specific clinics each semester which include Linear Algebra (fall only), Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations (spring only), and Discrete Math. Clinicians do not attend class, but they do host sessions in the evening where students can work on their homework in a supportive environment.
General Clinicians at the Math & Stat Clinics can help with any math content from a variety of classes on a drop-in basis.
One-on-one clinics are available by appointment to help with a variety of courses. These appointments can happen in-person or on zoom.
All professors host office hours for their particular courses. See your syllabus or Moodle page for more information.
For students who need additional help beyond the clinics and office hours, tutors can be arranged with approval from the professor. Please communicate with your professor and/or the Academic Support Coordinator to arrange a tutor.
