First math class at Swarthmore:  MATH 028 - Linear Algebra

What was your favorite math class and why?  Probably MATH 044 with prof. Barranca. It was a lot of fun and he's very passionate about the material so overall it was a blast despite the fair difficulty

Why did you become a math major?  Because it's interesting first and foremost, and it allows me the quantitative language needed for a lot of high-paying jobs down the line.

How do you expect to use your mathematics after leaving Swarthmore?   Probably either in pedagogy or in the finance industry.

What advice do you have for an incoming student?  DON'T TAKE REAL ANALYSIS EARLY. Just because you do well in your first couple math classes doesn't mean you can handle it yet, take your time with it
