Labs If you are a research assistant working with our department, reserve lab workspace here Labs - phonetics lab and paclab Pacific Languages & Linguistics Lab The Pacific Languages & Linguistics Lab (PacLab) at Swarthmore College is set up to support fieldwork and other scholarship related to the languages of the Pacific, especially the Austronesian languages and those spoken on and around the island of New Guinea. Labs - phonetics lab Phonetics Lab The Phonetics lab is used to record speech in a sound reduction booth and analyze the articulation of vowels and consonants using ultrasound imaging technology. Labs - Endangered languages lab Endangered Languages Research & Documentation lab The Endangered Languages Research and Documentation lab focuses on community-centered language documentation and revitalization projects around the world.
