Conversations of Care

The Intercultural Center is guided by the Swarthmore College Strategic Plan of building a community prepared for life in a multicultural, multicultural democracy, and the world and educating the Whole Student. In order to bring that vision to life, IC will provide inclusive education workshops to help our community build upon cultural humility, cultural competency, and the foundations of the ideals that fall under diversity, equity, and inclusion. These workshops provide opportunities to gain knowledge, build community, and demonstrate skills alongside your peers to advance your DEI practice and grow both personally and professionally.
What You Will Learn:
- Address diversity issues and create educational pathways towards learning for students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Develop education presentations workshops for our community members on diversity, equity, and inclusion ideals
- Engage in educational dialogue to foster the development of intercultural community (re)alignment towards understanding, inclusion, cultural humility, and appreciation of diversity
