Emily Gale ’16 Honored with the 2016 ACS Undergraduate Scholastic Achievement Award
The Philadelphia Section of the American Chemical Society presents a Scholastic Achievement Award each year to the top-ranking senior majoring in chemistry or chemical engineering in each of the colleges and universities in this area which has an ACS approved department or an ACS Student Affiliate Chapter.
Emily was designated by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry to receive this award and was invited to attend the April 21st lecture and dinner together with other award winners from various colleges, which was held at the McCall Meeting and Conference Center in Upper Darby.
On May 2nd, Emily was presented with an award and gift from the Chemistry department by her advisor, Professor Stephen Miller, at ChemFest, the senior awards presentation and celebration followed by the senior picnic.
