Grant Opportunities

The earlier you let us in Sponsored Programs know of your interest in applying, the better we'll be able to support you. Preparing your application may take weeks or months, and obtaining College approval will take at least 1-2 weeks. Receiving a response from the funding organization could take six months or more.

When evaluating grant opportunities, consider your role in the project (prime or subawardee), how your project fits into the mission of the agency and program, the phase of the project, resource needs and funding availability, success rates, residency requirements, disciplinary and departmental expectations, length of application and time available to plan and write, etc.

Please keep in mind that some of the deadlines listed are our expectation of when a grant will be due based on due dates in past years, while others may be changed by the agency without notifying us. Please be sure to confirm deadlines with the funding agency.
