Policies on College-sponsored Travel

Swarthmore College has extended the restriction on most College-sponsored travel through December 31, 2020. This applies to students, faculty and staff. Some limited exceptions may be considered, but they must be approved by the appropriate member of the President’s Staff.

COVID-19 Travel Advisories

Swarthmore College continues to follow the guidance of the U.S. government on issues related to travel. The following CDC COVID-19 travel health notices (by country) and DOS global health advisory are currently in effect:

Information for Foreign Nationals / U.S. Citizens Living Abroad

For entering freshmen and continuing students: if you are interested in participating in an OCS-approved study abroad program in your country of residence, or taking a leave of absence and requesting transfer credits for work completed in your country of residence, please review this document and contact Pat Martin and Lotte Buiting ASAP to discuss your options.
