Devon Johnson, M.Ed., Administrative Coordinator

Devon Johnson has been the administrative coordinator for Swarthmore’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion since July 2024. In this position she supports the vice president with scheduling meetings, organizing events, managing the budget, and all other administrative tasks. Devon also assists the Equal Opportunity Officer and Title IX Coordinator as needed.

Devon earned her B.S. in criminal justice from West Chester University, and recently her M.Ed. from Pennsylvania State University. 

Devon has been working in the field of higher education for almost 13 years, 11 of which were spent at Penn State in Engineering, School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, and Athletics at University Park. 

Upon accepting her position with Swarthmore College, she moved to the Art Museum area of Philadelphia and is living without her three daughters for the first time.

In her free time, Devon enjoys spending time with her daughters, family, and friends, as well as biking, hiking and jogging and has recently become interested in birds and horticulture.
