Kevin Hanson, Guitar

Kevin Hanson has enjoyed great success in his career as a bandleader, recording and tourist artist, songwriter, and musical director for groups ranging from rock, RnB, jazz, and Latin music.  He has toured extensively throughout the US and worldwide with an array of artists, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Musiq Soulchild, Huffamoose, and The Fractals.  Kevin has recorded as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter on hundreds of records.  Kevin is the featured guitarist in the major motion picture releases Dave Chappelle’s Block Party and Jay-Z’s Fade To Black documentaries.  He performs regularly with his original band, The Fractals, and performs with dozens of jazz, rock, RnB, and Latin bands in the Philadelphia area.     

An educator and university professor for decades, Kevin has shared his experience and insights at Temple University, University of the Arts, Rowan University, and Swarthmore College.
