Justin Moore, Trombone

Justin Moore is a freelance trombone player in the Philadelphia area and has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Philly POPS, Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, Opera Delaware, Reading Symphony Orchestra, Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, Allentown Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Bozeman Symphony, Billings Symphony, Kennett Symphony, Lancaster Symphony, Bay Atlantic Symphony, Ocean City Pops, Symphony in C, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Symphony Orchestra, and more. Though classically trained, he enjoys making music of all genres and has also appeared outside of the concert hall with the Walnut Street Theatre, the Philly POPS Big Band, Larry McKenna Jazz Orchestra, in Atlantic City showrooms, and with a variety of commercial artists.

Justin is on the faculty at Temple University; teaches at the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University-Camden; and has an active private studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He also previously taught at the University of Delaware, Immaculata University, the Delaware Governor’s School for Excellence, Settlement Music School, Play On, Philly!, and has been a guest instructor at Swarthmore College and Haverford College.

He has shared the stage with many notable performers, including Ben Folds, Chris Botti, the Irish Tenors, Deana Martin, Il Volo, Allen Vizzutti, Jens Lindemann, Olga Kern, Sonny Landreth, and Joan Rivers, and has been a part of featured performances at the American Trombone Workshop, the Great American Brass Band Festival, and the International Trumpet Guild Conference. He also founded and manages the Avenue Brass, a Philadelphia-area brass ensemble.
