Anne Peterson, Bass

Anne Peterson enjoys an active career in Philadelphia as principal bass of the Pennsylvania Ballet, and as a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Philly Pops, Opera Philadelphia, and the Academy of the Vocal Arts. A treasured part of her musical life is playing assistant principal bass with the Santa Fe Opera every summer. She has extensive experience playing and recording with baroque ensembles, including Tempesta di Mare, The Bach Collegium, and Brandywine Baroque, as well as performing contemporary music with Network for New Music and Orchestra 2001.   She is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University, and teaches at Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges.
