TriCo Faculty Forum + TriCo Provosts Faculty Development Initiative

Each spring, the Tri-Co Faculty Forum partners with the Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, and Haverford Provost’s Offices to seek new faculty development ideas by convening brainstorming and discussion groups of faculty to share ideas and identify possible initiatives that might be fruitfully pursued via Tri-Co collaboration. In 2015 discussions with junior faculty resulted in a Tri-Co institutional membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity; initiatives based on our 2016 discussion with associate professors are underway. In 2017 we will focus on the needs of adjunct and non-tenure-track faculty, and 2018 on full professors. (Links to summaries of our reports coming soon.)

TriCo New Faculty Orientation

This event brings together new faculty from across the three colleges for a chat with newly-tenured members of the three colleges and a dinner to help get cross-college connections started.

Each year, the Tri-Co Faculty Forum sponsors a number of social events for junior faculty from across the Tri-Co. Email Joanne Kimpel (jkimpel1@swarthmore.edu) if you are a Trico junior faculty member and would like to be included in these events.
