Spring Housing Selection Timeline
*Returning students will be able to submit a 'Residence Hall Preference' form beginning August 3, 2020**
During the Residence Hall Preference process, students will be able to identify preferences on bathroom type, residence hall location, and floormates. We will not be able to accommodate all requests for floormates or location but we will work with students to try and place as many friend groups together as possible, in order to help support the unique needs of the residential community this semester.
Students will be assigned a single-occupancy room for the Fall 2020. Double and triple rooms will be converted to single-occupancy (one bed provided) but additional second and third sets of furniture will remain and may not be removed by the resident.
Student room assignments will be valid for the Fall 2020 semester only. ALL students will be required to completely vacate their residence hall rooms before leaving campus on or about November 20, 2020. If returning in the Spring semester, students will move into different residence hall rooms on or about February 11, 2021.
Residence halls that will be open for regular student housing in the Fall 2020: Alice Paul, Dana, Danawell, David Kemp, Hallowell, Mertz, Parrish, PPR Apartment, Wharton, Willets.
Residence halls that will be closed for regular student housing in the Fall 2020: Kyle, Lodges, Mary Lyons, Palmer, Pittenger, Roberts, Woolman and Worth.
sfe College is currently operating essential functions only due to the COVID-19 crisis. At this time, we are not able to provide additional information about the Fall 2020 housing lottery. Students WILL still participate in the housing lottery and room selection process in the coming months. At this time, we are focusing all of our efforts on supporting the students who remain in campus housing and Spring 2020 move-out.
