Class of 2019

Congratulations and welcome to Swarthmore College!

We are excited that you'll be joining us in August of 2015.
Members of the Class of 2019 and new transfer students will receive information about First-Year Housing, a Roommate Questionnaire, and Orientation informtation in mid-May 2015.

Important Dates for the Class of 2019:

New-Student Move-In:  9am-12pm on TUESDAY, August 25th.  If you are arriving prior to Tuesday morning, you will need to make hotel accommodations.  Information about local hotels can be found here  Please note that there are many students who might arrive earlier than 8/25: Women's Soccer Team, Men's Soccer Team, Cross Country Team, Field Hockey Team, Volleyball Team, Tri-Co participants, International Students, Evan's Scholars.  If you believe that you are a member of one of the above groups, please be in contact before making travel plans.

Orientation 2015:  Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 - Sunday, August 30th, 2015

Fall Move-Out: dorms close for the winter break at 9am on Sunday, December 20th. You may wish to hold off on making travel plans until you find out about the final exam schedule.  If you need to book plane tickets now, please plan on the dorms closing no later than 12/20/2015

Spring 2016 Move-In: residence halls will open for the Spring 2016 term at 9am on Saturday, January 16th
