Department Overview

The Eugene and Theresa Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC) opened in January 1991. Its performance and rehearsal spaces include the Pearson-Hall Theatre, the largest performing stage on campus, the Frear Ensemble Theatre, the Troy Dance Lab, and the Boyer Dance Studio.

The LPAC also houses a number of academic and administrative departments, as well as the List Gallery, which regularly sponsors both contemporary and historical exhibitions by both emerging and nationally-known artists that complement and strengthen the studio art and art history curriculum.

Rhythm n Motion

This student dance group puts on shows every semester in the LPAC mainstage that feature dance styles from the African Diaspora.

Drama Board

Members of the student-run Drama Board rely on the LPAC staff for help and guidance on their productions.
