CAPS Outreach

Spring 2026 Outreach

CAPS aims to support faculty, students, and staff in developing and/or facilitating outreach (trainings, workshops, and other events). If you are interested in partnering with us for outreach, please let us know via our Outreach Request Form. You don't need to have every detail to submit a request -- we'll help with that! Should you have any other questions, please email us at CAPS Outreach.

CAPS is pleased to offer the following support spaces and workshops in Spring 2026:

Athletic Team Meetings
Coaches and team captains who would like their teams to learn more about topics such as the ways psychology can affect performance; confidence-building; team communication (and more!) should reach out to schedule time to meet.

If you are a coach or team captain interested in meeting, please contact CAPS' Athlete-Focused Provider!

DBT Skills Drop-In Group
In this hands-on skills group, we will learn and practice tools for managing difficult emotions and tolerating distress. Each session will tackle at least one new set of skills. This is a drop-in group, and although you are not required to attend every group session, we encourage that you attend as many as possible. Every skill does not work for every person or every situation, so the more skills you know, the more resources you will have when big emotions and events come up!

In an effort to break down stigma and barriers surrounding mental health literacy, CAPS and the Inclusive Excellence Fellows Initiative are teaming up to continue to host the Hearts & Crafts Initiative.
