Julia Murphy '15 has been awarded an American Chemical Society/Division of Organic Chemistry Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (ACS-SURF) for the upcoming summer of 2014. Julia will be continuing her Honors thesis research with Professor Bob Paley on a project that seeks to develop an approach for preparing enantiomerically pure azaspirocycles from the imine derivatives of sulfinyl dienal iron tricarbonyl complexes. She will be presenting her work at a poster session at Pfizer in New London, CT in late September.
