Colin Howell '19 Honored with the 2019 ACS Undergraduate Scholastic Achievement Award

The Philadelphia Section of the American Chemical Society presents a Scholastic Achievement Award each year to the top-ranking senior majoring in chemistry or chemical engineering in each of the colleges and universities in this area which has an ACS approved department or an ACS Student Affiliate Chapter.

Colin was designated by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry to receive this award and was invited to attend the April 15th lecture and dinner together with other award winners from various colleges, which was held at Lathem Hall, Widener University.

On May 6th, Colin was presented with an award and gift from the Chemistry department by his advisor, Professor Bob Paley, at ChemFest, the senior awards presentation and celebration followed by the senior picnic.                                                    

Congratulations Colin, on your achievement of an excellent record in chemistry at Swarthmore College.
