President-Designate Rebecca Chopp

Rebecca Chopp, distinguished scholar and author and current president of Colgate University, will become Swarthmore's 14th president when she takes office July 1.  She addressed students, faculty, staff, and alumni in Eldridge Commons after being named President-Designate by the College's Board of Managers. more
