Update 10:00 am - All 127 students staying in the David Kemp, Alice Paul, and Mertz residence halls have been accounted for and relocated to Willets residence hall. It has been determined that David Kemp and Alice Paul residence halls are unusable for the foreseeable future, including through Alumni Weekend. Route 320 remains closed at this time. Commencement will proceed as planned. 

Update 9:00 am - All 10 students that were sent to the hospital following yesterday's incident have been treated and released from the hospital.

UPDATE 8:30 - All campus events have been canceled for the day.

UPDATE 8:15 - The fires at Alice Paul and at the underpass are under control. Students with injuries are being taken to local hospitals. Please remain clear of the area.

UPDATE 8:00 - Crews are still at the scenes of the incidents. Please stay clear of the area.

UPDATE 7:45 - Students from Mertz, David Kemp, and Alice Paul have been evacuated to Sharples Dining Hall. There is an active fire in Alice Paul residence hall. Please stay clear of the area.  Police and fire crews are on the scene.

UPDATE 7:30 - There is an active fire at the scene of the accident. Students are being evacuated from the David Kemp and Alice Paul residence halls to Sharples. Please stay clear of the area. Police and fire crews are on the scene.

At 7:15am, A gasoline tanker truck was involved in a three-car accident at underpass in the vicinity of David Kemp. The tanker truck has an active leak. Police and fire crews are on the scene. Please keep clear of the area. We will provide more updates as they become available.
