Staff Summer Reading

The libraries have so much more than academic resources; we have novels, sci-fi, graphic novels, romance, sports books, audiobooks and much more. This summer, we invite staff to enjoy library resources, use the summertime for pleasure reading, and enter to win fabulous prizes.
You can sign up now to participate. Starting Tuesday, May 27, Libraries staff will help participants keep track of how much they’re reading, in terms of pages if you like print books, or hours if you like audiobooks. You can borrow books from the Swarthmore College Libraries or your local public library, or buy them from your favorite independent bookstore. Any book you want to read counts!
You can win motivational prizes throughout the summer by reporting your progress in person at McCabe or via email. At the end of the summer, we will celebrate with a pizza party, and give grand prizes to the College’s biggest readers.
