Staff are always invited to enjoy library resources, but are especially invited to use the summertime for pleasure reading, and enter to win fabulous prizes by signing up for Staff Summer Reading 2026.

  • Any kind of book counts - print books, audiobooks, ebooks!
    • Borrow books or audiobooks from the College Libraries or your local public library
    • Buy them from your favorite independent bookstore.

Visit Summer Reading Headquarters

Visit McCabe Monday-Friday, from 12:30-3:00 pm to:

  • Check out books and get recommendations
  • Attend events
  • Report your progress and get prizes - a sticker each time you stop in, plus:
    • A reusable fan for 500 pages, or 10 hours
    • A book light for 1,500 pages, or 50 hours
    • A cooler bag for 5,000 pages, or 100 hours

Celebrate

Come to the pizza party (tentatively scheduled for August 12) to learn who is the most voracious reader and what teams have read the most.
