Plant Anatomy Portfolio III

Plant Anatomy Portfolio III is a montage of nature images from various sources: digital photographs, illustrations from anatomical texts, and digital “painting.”

Liberating Learning

Twelve Justseeds artists created designs that sought to inspire the next generation and their teachers. The designs range from didactic to playful, each one a different take on the idea of education.

Interaction of Color

Selections from the Interaction of Color (1963). This first edition of the influential book by Josef Albers, a German-born American artist, presents his color theory principles. The illustrations are studies composed of color-printed paper and mounted colored paper, some with cutouts. This book was donated to Swarthmore by Lucy Carol Davis, Class of 1971.
