Meet the Board Members

Michele Schremp '25 is a sophomore from Massachusetts planning to major in neuroscience and creative writing. She was an Inclusive Excellence Fellow working on the project “We’ve Always Been Here: History of the LGBTQ+ Community at Swarthmore College'' her freshman year, and administered a campus-wide survey of LGBTQ+ students. She works with the Chester Children’s Chorus as a math coach and she has worked with the Intercultural Center as a Student Resource Person for the Summer Social Justice Institute, after participating in the Institute her freshman year.

Harry Hou '25 is a sophomore from Montgomery County, PA studying Philosophy and English Literature. In his free time, he enjoys running. Additionally, he serves as a Student Academic Mentor and welcomes questions on the College’s policies and resources related to Academic advising.

Lemuel L’Oiseau '25 (They/Them) is a sophomore from Hamilton, New Jersey. They are planning to major in computer science and minor in Chinese. Lemuel L’Oiseau was a member of the Intercultural Center’s 2021 Summer Social Justice Institute cohort and is a Student Resource Person for the 2022 cohort, as well as being an IC intern for the 2022 academic year. They have worked on various projects with the Swarthmore Libraries; most notably in the summer of 2022 where they helped catalog a donation of broadsides and prints from the Cuala Press, donated by a Swarthmore alum. When not working behind the desk at McCabe or the IC, you can find them knitting, crocheting, or watching their favorite cartoon, Steven Universe.

Myles Ross is a sophomore born and raised in New York City. He is a prospective neuroscience major and film and media studies minor on the premedical track. Participating in DEI work in middle and high school, He facilitated affinity groups and attended many conferences around identity, including the Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) in his junior and senior years. At Swarthmore, he works as an intern at the Black Cultural Center, and, he works as a Student Resource Person for the Intercultural Center’s Summer Social Justice Institute, a program he attended in his Freshman year. In his free time, he likes to draw, watch movies, and fence on Swarthmore’s Club Fencing team.
