Welcome to the InterCenter

The Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center at Sproul Hall

Department Overview

The InterCenter is the collaboration of three overlapping, identity-focused centers on campus: the Intercultural Center, the Interfaith Center, and the International Student Center. We are located in and collectively manage the Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center at Sproul Hall.

In addition to housing the staff for the three centers, the InterCenter is a space for student gathering, programming, and finding community. Popular areas include the Dome, Kitchen, Terrace, Meditation Room, Plinth Room, and Fireplace Room. It is not uncommon to find student-led events or meetings happening on a regular basis!

The InterCenter team supports one another and their students, plans cohesive events together, and stewards the space so that all guests feel welcome.
