A Celebratory Series
In 1866, as the cornerstone of Swarthmore College’s first building was laid, President Edward Parrish stated that a Swarthmore education should fit students “for life, with all its possibilities.” In the 160 years since, the College has provided generations of students with transformative liberal arts educations, producing thoughtful and engaged alumni contributing to a better world.
