Delvin Dinkins

Dinkins, at home in West Chester, Pa., became head of Episcopal Academy's Upper School in July 2013. From 2010 until June 2013, he was director of assessment and accountability for the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District in Berwyn, Pa. He has been an educator and administrator in Berwyn since 1995. His positions included director of electronic learning for the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District from 2008-10, principal of Valley Forge Elementary School from 2005-08, assistant principal of Conestoga High School from 2001-05, and English teacher from 1995 to 2000.

Before joining the Board in 2012, Dinkins had served on the Alumni Council as vice president and chair from 2006 to 2011. Dinkins earned a B.A. in English literature from Swarthmore, then an M.A. in education in 1994 from the University of Michigan, and an Ed.D. in educational administration from the University of Pennsylvania. He is married to Davirah Timm-Dinkins '93.
