Asahi Pompey

Pompey is the global head of Corporate Engagement and chair of the Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs, president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation and Goldman Sachs Gives.

Pompey leads the firm’s community engagement initiatives, including 10,000 Small Businesses, 10,000 Women, One Million Black Women, and Community TeamWorks. As chair of the UIG, she oversees UIG's portfolio as a part of the firm's community development financing activities under the Community Reinvestment Act program.

In addition to serving on the Board of Managers, Pompey also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Brooklyn Museum and Loomis Chaffee School as well as the advisory boards of Glamour  Women of the Year and Milken Center for Advancing  the American Dream.

Pompey, an Oak Leaf Award recipient, earned a B.A. in political science at Swarthmore and also holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
