On-Campus Housing
For alumni interested in staying on campus, please understand that Swarthmore is committed to providing summer housing to students pursuing on-campus or local summer opportunities — or who simply have nowhere else to go. With this in mind, on-campus housing is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, it's important to remember dorm rooms are equipped with only the bare essentials: two sheets, one pillow and pillowcase, one blanket, and two towels. Bathrooms are communal and all-gender; rooms with private baths are not available. Most residence halls do not have air conditioning. For those seeking more comfortable lodging, we encourage you to explore off-campus options, including local hotels, inns, and short-term rentals. If you're interested in staying on campus during Alumni Weekend, please plan to register early. Registration will open in late March.
